Catholic Family and Child Service Wenatchee Benefit Dinner and Dessert Dash
A Big Thanks All Who Helped with Event
Thanks to all who attended and gave generously of their time and resources to make our benefit dinner a success. We really appreciate your support! Our St. Patrick's Day celebration at our Annual Benefit Dinner and Dessert Dash on March 14 at St. Joseph's Parish grossed over $42,000 to support CFCS programs that "Bring Hope to Life for Those Most in Need."
Thanks to all the volunteers and the many staff members who helped make this annual event such a success, and to the sponsors who made it possible: A big thank you goes to our GOLD Sponsors: Amerigroup, Goodfellows Brothers, NewTower Trust, St. Joseph Parish and SILVER sponsor: Health Alliance Medicare. We also thank our many BRONZE sponsors: Cascade Autocenter, Cashmere Valley Bank, Columbia Pediatrics P.S, Columbia Valley Community Health, Confluence Health, Jones-Jones-Betts Funeral Home together with Patriot Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, and Webb Accountancy.
Thank you also to Fr. Tom Kuykendall and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for hosting us in their beautiful hall and to our emcee, Wayne Wright, who inspired our guests to give generously. Thanks also to the Knights of Columbus for their help cleaning up after the dinner. We also had local wineries donate signature wines and 31 individuals and businesses donate delectable desserts for our very successful dessert dash.
During the lovely dinner catered by The Ivy Wild, we presented our Bringing Hope to Life Awards. Pat Lynam, who was lauded for his commitment to maintaining the Parish food bank and as a mentor to the St. Vincent de Paul staff and volunteers, was awarded the 2014 Community Award. The 2014 Employee Award went to Shirley Wilbur, program manager for Outpatient Services, who has more than ten years of service to individuals and families in her role.
All proceeds from the annual benefit support the wide-ranging programs at Catholic Family & Child Service.
Save the date for next year’s benefit, March 12, 2016!
